We have some exciting opportunities for anyone looking for a role in administration in the NHS.

There are 3 roles and they are based over the Ophthalmology Department across the MSE, all 3 roles are permanent.

The roles are based within the administrative team, and are over 2 sights Orsett Hospital and Tylers Ride, South Woodham Ferrers, with the occasional visits to Southend and Broomfield Hospitals. There may be times that these roles are cross sight covering. The roles come with some great benefits including, a very generous holiday allowance, a brilliant pension and the opportunity to work with some great people.

You need to have a can do attitude, a great deal of enthusiasm, be a good communicator and most importantly be prepared to learn. Good keyboard skills and some basic computer skills will also be required.

Answering telephone and face to face queries.

Booking new and follow up appointment using EPR.

Recording clinic outcomes.

Filing and scanning duties.

Understanding 18-week pathways.

Booking patient transport, liaise with portering and ambulance teams.

Review all patient demographics when speaking to them, to ensure EPR is up to date.

Ensuring the patients up to date contact numbers, address and GP details are to date.

To ensure all post is sent out in a timely fashion.
