Summary

Are you seeking regular bank work as a trainer? Join our dynamic team as a Learning and Development Officer!

Hours: Flexible - We're looking for support with specific subject specialist courses or to help deliver our 3 to 5-day inductions. We'll aim to schedule training 4 to 6 weeks in advance!

We are seeking experienced Learning and Development Officers to deliver transformative training in schools, children's homes, and community-supported accommodation services.

Ideal candidates will be qualified teachers or trainers with a background in clinical or allied health fields such as Speech and Language Therapy (SALT), social work, nursing, or therapy to deliver specialist training to our employees.

Responsibilities:
- Work to create, develop, and deliver inspiring and innovative learning and development solutions to support our colleagues in achieving their personal best and career ambitions.
- Be an integral part of the journey for our new colleagues by delivering bespoke and tailored induction programmes.
- Design and deliver innovative and forward-thinking leadership programmes to support the development and growth of our future leaders.
- Keep up to date with the latest learning and development trends and sector-based best practices to ensure our colleagues are receiving high-quality learning and development.

Essential Criteria:
- Professional Qualification Achieved, which may include:

Vocational qualification (health, education, or social care) - Level 3 as a minimum.
Social work qualification (Diploma, BSc, BA).
Teaching or education-based qualification.
Nursing qualification (with current NMC registration).
Other health professional qualification (with current HCPC or equivalent registration).

- At least 2 years' experience within the social care or education environment.
