Summary

1. Supporting the day-to-day operational and management of the DoS and MiDoS, ensuring it is maintained and updated to accurately reflecting commissioned services across BLMK. 2. Supporting the maintenance of the Directory of Service database and system changes as notified by NHS Pathways, commissioning changes or from any other routes. 3. Liaise with teams alongside the DoS project leads to provide high quality support focusing on the DoS and MiDoS agenda. 4. Provide reports from the DoS and MiDoS systems to support commissioning and strategic information. 5. Work with the DOS Leads to further develop the DoS and MiDoS to cover a wider range of services 6. Support the DoS leads to maintain existing and create new service profiles to reflect new versions within DoS and MiDoS 7. Participate in relevant internal and external working groups/projects, services, and initiatives which may be highly complex, sensitive, political, and contain contentious information with the aim of providing information and analytical advice to the teams. 8. Work with stakeholder to develop accurate and timely data as required to support the decision-making process. 9. Where appropriate provide support to primary care commissioning/ developmental/ transformation projects across BLMK and at place. 10. Assist as required with the investigation and resolution of DoS and MiDoS related aspects of patient/public/healthcare professional feedback. 11. Ensuring services populated directly on MiDoS are maintained in line with DoS validation process. 12. Championing innovation and improvements to MiDoS to support user community 13. Work closely with NHS 111/IUC and 999 providers to improve utilisation of DoS/MiDoS and problem solve issues that may arise. 14. Support rollout of DoS and MiDoS in line with local and national initiatives, to improve access to DoS outside of NHS 111/IUC. 15. Support on NHS Pathways releases, including engagement with clinicians/providers and profiling on DoS (overseen by DoS Senior Project Lead). 16. Scenario testing of patient pathways via NHS 111/IUC to improve utilisation of appropriate services. 17. In addition, the postholder will: Support and attend the stakeholder engagement meetings and events across the DoS function Respond to information/action requests from other areas relating to profiles for services commissioned by the ICB or located within the ICS area. 18. Attend staff meetings and report back to the team. 19. Provide general administrative support as and when required to the team. 20. Monitor several mailboxes and action appropriately or escalate to other members of the team based on request. 21. Need to have excellent communication, prioritisation, attention to detail and written skills, with a flexible attitude to meet the demands and changing challenges of the services we offer. The post holders key working relationships will be (but not limited to): ICB NHS 111/IUC Clinical Leads, Urgent Care Clinical Leads, Urgent Care Commissioning Managers, Quality & Safety Leads, Business Information analysts. ICSs Urgent and Emergency Care teams. Regional DoS Lead. NHS England Primary Care Commissioning, NHS Digital and National DoS team. Urgent and Emergency Care Providers Clinical and Operational Leads of NHS 111/IUC, GP out of hours (OOH), Urgent Treatment Centres (UTCs), Emergency Departments (EDs) and other urgent care providers. For the providers of other services commissioned by the ICB/located within the ICB areas the Operational Lead, the Clinical Lead.
