Salary: Band 5 £15,115 - £18,832 p.a. (£30,229 - £37,664 pro rata)
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: We plan to recruit a fixed term dietitian, who has an interest in child healthy weight, to join our friendly team of 9 Paediatric Dietitians and 4 support staff. We are part of the integrated children's service within the Highland Council, based at Raigmore Hospital and The Pines in Inverness with some staff remotely based.
As part of this small team, you will provide a weight management service to children and families. The post holder will also work closely with public health and other agencies to assist us to meet the Scottish Government standards for the delivery of tier 2 and 3 weight management services for children and young people as well as supporting Tier 1 initiatives. There is likely to be some opportunity to develop skills in general paediatric dietetics as well. Post graduate experience is not essential. We are looking for a hard working, enthusiastic dietitian who wishes to develop their skills in child healthy weight and would enjoy the challenge of working in this area.

Requirements
Registered Dietitian with the HCPC
Honours Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics (4 year degree qualification with several clinical practice placements in a variety of settings)
Driving Licence
