I am a young man with Down Syndrome who loves all things sporty; kicking footballs, swimming, tennis, golfing, bowling, cricket, going to the park etc, as well as playing on my Wii and watching musical films. I am a loving person who likes to please, I have a good sense of humour, I like to dance and sing, I also enjoy colouring as a way to relax.
I have an intellectual disability with limited vocabulary. I communicate with simple 2/3 key word sentences and Makaton. I find it difficult to verbalise when I am upset or angry but you can usually tell by my body language!
I have limited awareness of danger including road sense.
Hours are p/t 12 h/w including evening and weekend (times and days to be agreed)
Hourly rate is £12.40/hr weekdays, £15.44/hr weekends
I require assistance to access the things I love in the community and at home.
