Salary: Grade 1, £22,453 - £22,612 per annum pro rata
Approximate pro rata £14,365 - £14,467 per annum (0.63978 FTE)(Please note this role may be eligible for a job share arrangement - 2 x 15 hour appointments)
About us and the role We are seeking an enthusicatic Library and Careers Administrator to join our team and support the daily operations of our school library and coordinating our school's careers program. You will manage library administrative tasks, assist with pupil behaviour within the library and careers events, liaise with guest speakers and assist with work experience and post-16 application administration. This role also includes providing clerical support, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to school policies.If you are organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a welcoming learning environment, we encourage you to apply!Avanti Fields School is an all-through, faith designated (Hindu) state school which welcomed the first intake of Year 7 students in September 2018, and first intake of Nursery and Reception students in September 2022. Perform library administrative tasks, restock shelves, and manage book check-in/out processes. Assist with pupil behavior management and create a safe, welcoming environment in the library and during careers events. Coordinate with guest speakers, schedule 1:1 careers sessions, and manage work experience and post-16 application administration. Provide routine clerical support, maintain records, and handle typing and other ICT-based tasks. Operate office equipment, manage supply storage, and support financial administration tasks such as collecting overdue book fees and processing work experience invoices.Why should you apply
