Summary
Havering, North East London Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse with a District Nurse qualification to work in the Integrated Care Team , as a Band 7 District Nurse Team Leader.The Nurse will need to be experienced in this role.
You will need to be able to demonstrate the following essential criteria skills for the post:
• Excellent clinical Skills
• Managerial Skills
• Leadership Skills
• Communication skills
• Information Technology (IT) Skills
• The ability to travel between sites
• Non medical or community Nursing Prescribing
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of safe care to a caseload of patients allocated to the team, including being professionally and legally accountable.
The post holder will also line manage a team of Community Nurses and Health Care Support Workers. They will supervise and appraise staff members and students.
The post holder will also be required to work along side a District Nurse / Clinical Nurse Lead and Integrated Team Manager
The post holder must possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
The post holder must hold a valid UK driving licence.

High Cost Area Supplement – London
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,313 and a maximum payment of £5,436 per annum pro rata).
