Summary

Quality Standards Manager needed in Bradford, £46.67ph PAYE - Reference: 5249567

1. To undertake independent visits to Children’s Homes in Bradford (known as Regulation 44 visits) to assess that standards are being met as defined by the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards for Children’s Homes and Children Act 1989. This provides independent scrutiny of the home, making best use of information from independent and internal monitoring to ensure continuous improvement.

2. To quality assure the arrangements that are in place including the quality of care provided, the practice of staff and management, to inspect compliance with regulations, systems and processes and the quality of the environment. Importantly the visits need to report on how the homes are meeting the individual needs of children and young people to achieve good outcomes.

3. Provide written reports to Directors and Elected Members advising them of action/s needed to ensure the services meet the required Standards.

This is a Full time role on a temporary contract basis.
