Summary


The post holder will be a vital member of the Infection Prevention and Control team and will facilitate the team’s function by supporting the administrative processes. Support the IPCT operational performance

The post will consist of the full range of administrative and secretarial duties, some of which will require the exercise of an initiative to a significant level and involve the use of office equipment using appropriate secretarial skills.

The post holder will be required to use computerised systems, e.g., UKHSA National Data Capture System, Careflow EPR, ICE and Pathology systems.

To provide a customer-focused service by dealing with all enquiries in an efficient, polite and courteous manner dealing with queries where possible or directing them to the correct person within the team.

· To be responsible for organising formal meetings when required, e.g. Infection Prevention Control Committee, to takeFormal meeting notes, including preparing draft agendas and cascading relevant documentation for meetings such as Infection Prevention and Control Committee
