Patient Administrators are vital in streamlining the process, as you are the first point of contact for patients, staff, and visitors – helping with queries and managing referrals.
This is a bank position for a Patient Administrator. By joining the staff bank, you’ll being key to ensuring each patient’s healthcare journey stays smooth and stress-free, even during busy periods and when there are absences (such as due to illness or annual leave).
You will have the freedom to pick up shifts that suit your schedule through the bank, though we would encourage you to do so regularly to stay familiar with the system.
Any hours worked after 8pm and on Saturdays will be compensated at an enhanced rate.
Person specification:
• (Desirable) Previous experience as a Patient Administrator
• (Desirable) Previous experience working within a healthcare setting
• (Essential) Previous experience working within an administrative or customer support role
• (Essential) Excellent attention to detail
• (Essential) Good computer proficiency
• (Essential) GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above / Grade 4-9), equivalent Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications, or equivalent professional experience
