Summary

Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Commercial Environment - Old Street, London - Up to £43,000 - Monday - Friday

This exciting opportunity to work for a leading property management company situated in Old Street I am currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to look after commercial properties in the Old Street area working within a team.

You will need to be electrically qualified and have an all round understanding of most trades, as well as having a proven track record in property / commercial building maintenance. He or she will be required to attend a property and carry out all aspects of planned and reactive electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance. In return, the company is offering a competitive salary paying up to £43,000, overtime and a great package.

Hours of work

- Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm
- Overtime Available

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
- Emergency lighting
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Chillers - Re-set
- Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- Water Treatment
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

Requirements (Essential)

- Electrically qualified City & Guilds - Level 2 & 3
- A proven track record in commercial building or property maintenance
- Happy to cover a portfolio of high end properties
- Excellent customer service skills
- Highly flexible and adaptable with hours, duties and travel
- Committed to/looking for a long term role
- Able to work to very high standards
- Basic knowledge of building regulations
- A thorough understanding of Health & Safety standards
- A professional approach with particular emphasis on maintaining confidentiality
