We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established RCVS accredited group in the vibrant city of Birmingham. This role involves working in a roving capacity, giving you exposure to a diverse caseload and the chance to contribute to a dynamic team.
Our client is a well-established RCVS accredited group with 6 practices, including a 24-hour hospital. Conveniently located near Birmingham city centre, they enjoy excellent transport links and are surrounded by picturesque rural areas such as Kinver, Clent Hills, and the Lickey Hills.
This position offers flexibility and variety in caseload, allowing you to work alongside an experienced team with diverse expertise, including certificate holders in surgery, medicine, imaging, ophthalmology, and exotics.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse in this role, you will perform general nursing duties, including inpatients, theatre practice, basic laboratory tasks, consulting, patient admits and discharges, and triaging patients/calls. Additionally, you will assist with pricing procedures, stock ration, ordering, and provide support to student nurses and new grad vets.
Their on-site facilities are excellent, equipped with ultrasound, Xray, dental machine, CT, K-laser, Endoscopy, and access to MRI. This allows our client to offer a wide range of services to their clients.
You will be joining a friendly and experienced team comprising 24 Vets, 25 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 5 Student Veterinary Nurses, 11 Veterinary Auxiliaries, 17 receptionists, 4 admin staff, and a team of managers, each playing a vital role in the overall team dynamics.
