We are delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a well-established, RCVS accredited small animal practice in the vibrant city of Birmingham. The practice is conveniently located within a commutable distance from Birmingham City Centre, approximately 3 miles away. Despite the close proximity to the bustling city, the practice offers a village-like ambiance, surrounded by coffee shops, restaurants, and a delightful market on dedicated Saturdays.
The practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, visiting MRI, and a biochemistry analyser. Additionally, they boast separate cat and dog wards to ensure optimal care for their diverse range of patients.
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be responsible for a wide variety of duties including inpatients, theatre practice, basic laboratory tasks, consulting, patient admits and discharges, and triaging patients/calls. Your role will extend to assisting with pricing procedures, managing stock, ordering supplies, and providing support to student nurses and new grad vets.
You will join a well-established team that includes a variety of certificate holders in surgery, medicine, imaging, ophthalmology, exotics, and orthopaedics. Their team of Registered Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Auxiliaries, Reception, and Admin staff collaborates seamlessly to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

The Role:
• Full time, part time or flexible hours role
• Full time hours would involve working between 8am and 7.30pm Monday to Friday with various shift patterns
• 1:6 weekends (9am - 6pm/8am - 6pm) and 1:6 Saturday mornings
