Summary
KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Folder Gluer Operator for our client based in Croydon.
As a Folder Gluer Operator you will be working Monday- Friday, with the working hours:
• Day Shift- 07:30- 16:30 Monday – Thursday and 07:30- 15:40 Friday (first month on day shift)
• Afternoon Shift- 15:30- 00:30 Monday- Thursday and 03:30- 23:40 Friday
The rate of pay as a Folder Gluer Operator is:
• £11.50 - £12.50 p/h (based on relevant experience)
Duties and responsibilities as a Folder Gluer Operator are:
• Make ready carton board packaging
• Run folder gluing machine – Signature/Brausse folder gluers
• Ability to problem solve and monitor own quality control measures
• Ensure smooth day-to-day running of machinery and products
• Excellent team working and communication skills
• Participate in continuous development and training
• Excellent housekeeping and operator maintenance practices
The ideal candidate for a Folder Gluer Operator must have:
• Must have have experience of running a folder gluing machine
• Have operated a Brausse/Signature folder gluer, alternative experience will be considered
• You will need to be used to working under pressure in order to meet deadlines and be able to demonstrate a self motivated and focused approach.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescales
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Confident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous training
• Good communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Organised, methodical and logical approach to work
• Able and willing to do overtime during busy periods.
