Summary

Infrastructure Operations Analyst

Our offices span across London, Denmark, Germany, Sweden and Singapore.

As our business sets up for further growth, we are looking for an Infrastructure Operations Analyst to join our Infrastructure team and be responsible for operational improvements, service oversight & change and infrastructure stability. You will work closely on delivering projects, changes, stability and resilience on a proactive basis. You'll also work on any incidents or problems that affect the Trading Operations of Centrica Energy.

Centrica Energy Infra are currently in the planning stages of a transformational program of change involving Active Directory migrations, Support and Service reworking, and Global operational realignment with satellite offices. The successful candidate will be asked to help plan and implement this change as well as taking ownership of the post change landscape.

Location: This is a London based (close to Marble Arch) role and we encourage hybrid working with circa 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

About the Role:

  • Support operational performance and stability of the Centrica Energy environments.

  • Maintain and support operational stability as a result of change introduced through assigned projects.

  • Oversight of the onsite Trade Floor Support team.

  • Help manage 3rd party resources and off-shore teams.

  • Deliver quality and efficient infrastructure solutions that work to address Centrica Energy business.
    requirements against industry standards.

  • Collaborate with the architecture, application development and operations teams to contribute to continued deployment and delivery.

  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies and improvements across Centrica Energy infrastructure solutions.

  • Build and maintain relationships with counterparts in Centrica Group and our team in Denmark to ensure that the infrastructure and service provides a robust and reliable platform to deliver Centrica Energy focused services and applications.

  • Disaster recovery Scenario planning and testing.

  • Support and change of compliance tools and services for a regulated business.

  • Help manage, minimise and report Risks to the business from a technology and process perspective.

About You:

  • Experience of Trade Floor and Trading environments.

  • Understanding of on prem Active Directory and Entra ID.

  • Experience with InTune as MDM.

  • Proven ability to identify technical, operational, or service improvements.

  • Experience with mass deployments of hardware and basic hardware troubleshooting.

  • Strong understanding of the role of technology in the Trading World.

  • Comfortable talking to senior Execs.

  • Good communicator.

  • Organised, energetic and, above all, shows initiative and drive.

  • Previous experience in Service Management.
