East Renfrewshire Council have an exciting permanent opportunity for someone with a passion for data, innovation and driving change to join our Digital Transformation Team.

We are looking for a talented individual to join us as a Senior Data & Business Intelligence Officer working on improving performance, ensuring quality of data, and influencing strategic decisions through data analytics. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to play a pivotal role in shaping our future.

We need someone to act as a senior corporate/business developer for business intelligence providing advice and support to colleagues across the organisation around data, business intelligence/insight, automation, low-code and artificial intelligence projects and products. The post holder will also need to translate business needs into complex data requirements to ensure they meet strategic and operational objectives.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in a related Data, Business Analysis or ICT related discipline(s) alongside a minimum of 3 years of experience of undertaking the development, deployment, maintenance and administration of one or more of: databases, end-to-end business process data flows, low-code applications/automations, business intelligence reports and dashboards.

Your strong communication skills will be crucial in building relationships and communicating insights & recommendations with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.

*Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
