Summary
We are currently looking to employ a highly skilled lecturer to join our expanding School of Creative and Performing Arts. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and assessing students on our Level 3 Musical Theatre course. However, there may be teaching hours available on the acting and dance course. The role will involve creating, supervising practical and theory sessions. In addition, you will also be expected to provide pastoral support to the learners. You will also be required to carry out other duties, such as, preparing learners for assessments and marking learner work. You will have experience of working with learners in a teaching or mentoring capacity. You should also be able to work effectively as part of a team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills You will need to have a degree or professional qualification in musical theatre, with a deep subject knowledge and experience of working in the industry as a director and choreographer.
