In your new role, you’ll be working within agile scrums to ensure technologies and customer propositions provide fraud and scams results tracking essentials. You'll develop and deliver accurate, timely, and meaningful performance analysis and MI to support business decision making. From that data, you’ll help us identify existing and emerging fraud trends, and work with our stakeholders to enhance the bank’s fraud prevention capabilities.
As well as this you'll prepare performance briefings for a variety of audiences from operational teams to senior leaders, and presenting as required, undertaking fraud loss and prevention strategy analysis to provide recommendations to teams and improve performance and customer safety.
You’ll also:
- Evaluate new data sources and integrate these into our performance monitoring to optimise the bank’s fraud prevention capability
- Conduct appropriate monitoring and performance analysis of fraud prevention processes and strategies
- Lead on the design, development and deployment of data tools and dashboard visualisations, including Tableau, PowerBI and Excel
- Create and work with large, complex data sets that can be used to drive continuous improvement activity
- Collaborate with team members and actively grow your analytical and data handling knowledge
- Create publishing and refreshing fraud and scams relevant MI dashboards; analysing performance and providing commentary
- Forecast fraud loss and operational performance
The skills you'll need
To excel in your new role, you’ll need experience in advanced data mining techniques, including expertise in extraction, transformation, and data visualisation.
You’ll also be highly analytical and collaborative, with the ability to work with various stakeholders at all levels.
You’ll also need:
- Working knowledge of coding environments
- An understanding of data visualisation tools
- Effective experience of using and interpreting MI
- The ability to synthesize large amounts of information from various sources to draw meaningful conclusions
