Summary

The Head of Development is an exciting opportunity to make a significant mark on Worthing Theatres & Museum by leading the organisation’s fundraising to raise income across both revenue and capital projects. This new role will be an integral member of the Senior Management Team taking an active role in the organisation’s leadership and being an ambassador for WTM.

The postholder will work closely with the Executive team to deliver an ambitious fundraising strategy for WTM. You will be responsible for leading the team to raise vital funds integral to achieving WTM’s goals over the coming years. You will champion fundraising at WTM nurturing a culture of fundraising at all levels including with the Board, Senior Management Team and wider staff. The Head of Development will also represent WTM at a senior level with key external stakeholders including (but not limited to) Worthing Borough Council, Arts Council England, National Lottery Heritage Fund and other key funders and stakeholders.
