Summary

Join our team as the Head of Strategic Asset Management and help shape the future of Asset Services across Platform Housing Group!

We are currently looking for a visionary and dynamic Head of Strategic Asset Management, to lead our multifunctional Assets team enabling us to provide a highly effective Assets Service.

Platform Housing Group has recently been assessed as G1/V1, underscoring our excellence in governance and financial viability. Our financial Investment has steadily increased year on year and the team has successfully built up its ability and capacity to deliver a high-quality service.

In this role you will be pivotal in Influencing, shaping, and planning investment programmes to deliver the long-term financial plan and future strategic priorities. You will also work alongside the other Asset Team Heads of Service including Building Safety, External Contracts, Sustainability and Commercial Services.

Some of the things we need from you:

Significant experience in strategic asset management functions

Degree qualified or equivalent experience

Proven track record in profiling investment across significant portfolios

Previous experience of developing and implementing operational plans

A thorough and up to date knowledge of business improvement initiatives and the ability to apply this with a pragmatic and common-sense approach

A natural leader of people with excellent managerial and motivational skills

Ability to provide, update and manage a data led and evidence-based asset management service

Experience of budget forecasting and management

While this role offers the flexibility of being home-based, occasional travel to Group offices and other locations, including Birmingham Business Park Solihull and Central Park, Worcester, is required.
