Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced, proactive and dedicated Assistant Hospitality Manager to join the fantastic team at Colchester Institute, CO3 3LL
As a Hospitality Manager you will ensure the smooth operation and success of the hospitality offering on site whilst leading the team. We are looking for an individual with a strong hospitality / catering background who is willing to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in. You will pride yourself on having high standards and being able to work as part of a team to get things done.

What you'll be doing



- Managing a team of staff on site to include all recruitment, onboarding, training, development plans, appraisals, performance management, offboarding etc
- Oversee and manage hospitality operations across the site
- Drive standards and implement new ideas putting your own stamp on things
- Carry out accurate administrative duties associated with Conference, Hospitality and Events
- Budget and stock management
- Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships through providing a client facing service
- Compliance with statutory legislation/company policy food safety and health and safety including HACCP and allergen awareness
- Menu management





You'll be set up for success if you have..



- A background in food service/ hospitality
- Experience managing a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
- A strong team player who has a can do attitude
