Band 6-7 Neurosciences Occupational Therapist (Developmental Role)
Band 6 salary £35392 + HCAS progress to Band 7 Salary £43742 + HCAS once competencies met.
Full time 37.5hrs per week
The Royal Free London is excited to announce this unique opportunity for a motivated individual looking to further develop their skills and specialise as a Band 7Neuro-Occupational Therapist (OT).
The successful candidate will receive regular supervision and support to meet set competencies required to fulfil a Band 7 neuro-OT role. The post is rotational, happening on an 18 monthly basis.The 18-month rotations enable further skill development and expertise in the assessment, treatment, and management of complex neurological conditions across the patient pathway, leading teams, and driving quality improvement in critical care, sub-acute neurorehabilitation, including stroke and neurology, and inpatient neurorehabilitation. The rotations are based at Royal Free London main hospital site and the Neurorehabilitation Centre based at Edgeware. You will be well supported by neurotherapy Band 8 Clinical Leads across both sites.
Successful candidates are required to demonstrate the Trust values, the responsibilities of the job description and person specification, and will be guided by a set of internally-made competencies as guided by the Royal College of Occupational Therapy's (RCOT) Career Development Framework.
