A lovely Nursery in the Nottingham area is looking to bring on board a qualified nursery assistant on a full time basis, Monday to Friday working from 08.45 to 17.30. Their mission is to deliver high quality childcare and exciting opportunities for learning that give every child a head start as they prepare for school.
As a nursery assistant you will hold a 3 qualification. Your day to day duties will include ensuring the children are in a safe but fun environment. You will be looking after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have daily adventures with the children through interactive play, activities, reading and helping them with their curious minds through the learning curriculum.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
• Level 3 childcare or equilivant
• Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant or similar)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
