Summary


A Local Security Management Specialist position in the healthcare sector will shortly become available working for SAFE Security and Fraud Experts.

In order to apply for this position applicants need to demonstrate they have the essential and desirable skills applicable to this role which includes:
• § Level 5 LSMS Accreditation (formerly through NHS Protect) or equivalent security management qualification.
• § Significant experience in holding a similar position within the healthcare sector.

Security and Fraud Experts hold a number of national contracts to deliver security management work with additional clients based predominantly in the southwest region. The successful applicant will be expected to manage clients based in the Wiltshire area but will need to remain flexible if it is necessary for them to engage in work elsewhere.

Being able to travel Independently and ability to stay away from home overnight on occasion is also essential.

This post will become available from Monday 1 July 2024; however it is anticipated that the successful applicant will be required to give notice to their current employer.

This is primarily a specialist advisory and monitoring role working as an autonomous practitioner to ensure that the organisation delivers an environment that is safe and secure, to help ensure that the highest standards of clinical care can be delivered to service users in accordance with: NHS Contractual Requirements, Criminal Law and other related legislation. To be an advisory resource for all employees in matters relating to preventing violence and aggression and other security related issues such as the protection of property and assets. To ensure that information, instruction and training is delivered in order to create a pro-security culture within the organisation, so that all who work in and visit take responsibility for their actions so that when security incidents and / or breaches occur, they are detected, reported and successful outcomes (including lessons learnt) are achieved.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check
