Facilities Co-ordinator
International Fire Training Centre, Durham

Salary of £30,000.00
Serco have an exciting opportunity to join their team as Facilities Co-ordinator at the IFTC in Darlington.
You’ll help to ensure that the IFTC site is maintained in line with statutory and Serco requirements. Part of your role will be helping to co-ordinate the repairs and maintenance tasks. You’ll be engaging with contractors for works not delivered by the in-house team.
Main Accountabilities:
- Co-ordination of works undertaken by in-house staff and sub-contractors to meet statutory and internal standards.
- Co-ordinate the electrical testing of installations and correct certification.
- Implement corrective actions identified in second and third party audits and fire risk assessments.
- Ensure facilities staff operate to Serco standards, health and safety procedures and the maintenance of relevant records.
- Prepare and review risk assessments and method statements.
- Prepare and update work procedures.
What you’ll need to do the role:
- Time served Electrician.
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation work.
- City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection
- City & Guilds 18th Edition (Electrical Regulations)
