Summary

This full-time position has a starting salary of £26,777 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.


This is a 18-month fixed term contract or secondment opportunity. (For internal candidates interested in a secondment opportunity, please discuss with your line manager before submitting your application).

We are excited to be hiring a new Administration Assistant to join our fantastic Supporting Independence and Reviewing team (SIRT) based in Woking.

Please note; the contractual location for this role is currently Quadrant Court in Woking, however it is our intention to move within the local area to Victoria Gate in Central Woking later this year. As part of the Agile Working Policy you will be required to come into the office at least twice a week. There is flexibility to come in on either Monday or Tuesday however we do ask that Wednesday is a mandatory office day.

About the team

SIRT is a small, dynamic and very supportive team. We offer ongoing training and development, as well as an Employee Assistance Programme to support your Wellbeing. We also support agile working for a better work/life balance.
About the role

In this role you will primarily support the team with collecting information, managing data performances, setting up and managing/monitoring data spreadsheets. Therefore, you will need to be proficient in using excel. You will support the team to book appointments and meetings, assist with managing the visit safety policy, minute taking and providing administrative support. There will be occasions where you will be required to travel to other venues to attend training or meetings.

Shortlisting criteria

To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your CV and personal statement will clearly evidence the following:

  • Experience in an office environment
  • Some administration experience such as minute taking, managing data bases, creating and updating spreadsheets etc
  • Ability to work as part of a team but also able to use initiative
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft applications with specific reference to Excel
  • Commitment to your own professional development
  • Ability and willingness to travel around the county to meet the demands of the role
