Summary

To act as the strategic safeguarding lead within Learning and Skills providing a safeguarding monitoring, reporting, advice and guidance function to education settings and partner agencies in order to ensure that Hull's children and young people are educated within environments which recognise a shared responsibility for keeping children safe from harm. The work is in accordance with the Education Act 2002, Children Act 2004, Safeguarding Vulnerable People Act 2006 and current guidance on keeping children safe in educational settings.
You must have experience of delivering, monitoring and planning services at an strategic level, excellent communication skills with the ability to be trust at all levels.
A Degree or equivalent level of experience and possession of specialist skills and well-developed knowledge to provide in-depth support is essential.
The post will commence in September 2024. This is a full time permament role however term time only will be considered.
