Summary
Are you passionate about working in partnership to support high quality safeguarding arrangements for adults in Hull?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to join the Hull Safeguarding Adults Partnership Board (HSAPB). Across Hull, strong partnership relationships exist between agencies who have a role in safeguarding and there is a proactive commitment and motivation to continually improve. You will work closely with colleagues to strengthen and further develop adult safeguarding activity taking place across the partnership, under the HSAPB arrangements. Maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders across Hull is an imperative part of this role, to ensure an inclusive collaborative approach to protecting vulnerable adults.
The successful candidate will provide professional support, information and challenge to colleagues across the partnership, in the best interests of adults and their family networks, ensuring that voices and experiences are heard and used to influence developments and improvements. You will also support with ensuring that information is effectively shared across the partnership and that this is relevant, useful and informative.
You will support the HSAPB activity through acting as a representative at regional and national multi-agency stakeholder groups, ensuring that knowledge is continually updated and shared across the partnership in relation to emerging best practice, new policy and relevant research. The successful candidate will have significant direct experience of safeguarding work, a good understanding of adult safeguarding practice and legislation and the ability to analyse themes and trends from audit and other learning activity. You will support with developing and sharing learning across the partnership to improve practice and provide consultation, coaching and detailed guidance to practitioners on safeguarding practice, policies and procedures.
This is an exciting time to join the HSAPB to support and drive forward agendas to strengthen safeguarding practice. If you are committed to working in collaboration with statutory partners and relevant agencies across Hull, to continually improve outcomes for adults and their family networks, then we look forward to hearing from you.
