Summary
Title: Transport Supervisor / Transport Coordinator The Best Connection are recruiting for an established company based in the Copthorne area who are seeking Transport Supervisors/Coordinators for their bustling operation. Applicants are advised to have their own transportation due to the location of the client premises.
The role:
Working for a waste removal specialist your duties would be to work with the team ensuring a smooth and operationally cost effective transport plan by liaising with drivers and providing their routes for the day. For more job details please look below: Providing information/advice on services to clients/potential clients in person, over the phone and via email followed by written quotations Ensure the drivers know their stops and offering support to any issues which may arise on their or the clients side Processing bookings on their portal and ensuring the correct data entry Working with other internal departments to ensure the most efficient operation possible Administration for incoming/outgoing goods to meet legal requirements. Pay; £12.50 to £14.42 per hour
Shifts; Monday to Friday 0800-1700, with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rotational basis 0700-1200
Location: Copthorne
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate: Strong people skills, able to communicate effectively and clearly Can do and enthusiastic approach to work, willing to offer solutions to problems posed IT literate Customer service focused Knowledge of the local area to plan routes effectively and quickly Must be a strong Multi-tasker Where the client is looking for experienced individuals, if you demonstrate some of the key points above and you show the right drivers, they are willing to provide full training from the ground up.
