Salary: £83.85 - £100 Per day
Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a Team Teach trained SEN Teaching Assistant. We would also consider applicants with a similar qualification. The ideal candidate should have prior experience working within a school setting and have a passion for supporting children or adults with ASD or ADHD.
- Supporting students with special educational needs in a classroom setting
- Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
- Helping students with personal care needs, if required
- Encouraging student engagement and participation in learning activities
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Team Teach certification
- Prior experience working in a school environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
- Additional qualifications in special educational needs (SEN) are desirable
- Experience working with children or adults with ASD or ADHD
- Experience implementing behaviour management strategies
- Understanding of SEN educational practises
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with students
- Higher education qualification in Education or related field
- Additional training in safeguarding and child protection
- Full-time role in a primary or secondary school
- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
- Temporary position with the potential for extension/permanent role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
