Summary


This role will join our small, dynamic, friendly, supportive and energetic OD Team and collaboratively and individually undertake: -



· Organisational consulting using applied behavioural science – supporting improvement in team dynamics and leadership.



· Taking a systems approach to change and having a clear understanding of how organisational change happens – beyond awareness raising and training.



· Providing a comprehensive service to support and enable our staff to deliver our group operating plan and longer-term strategy.

You will possess the knowledge, experience and skills to facilitate team change by supporting our managers, and senior leaders using a variety of triage, presentation, facilitation, and psychometric skills combined with leadership models, exercises and programmes, to design and deliver planned and unplanned OD interventions.



We are looking for a team player and an OD Practitioner who is passionate about culture change, to help us, through your expertise and experience to influence, coach, facilitate and educate team organisational change.



Your weeks will be varied in terms of the scope of client OD work involved – from undertaking your own interventions to supporting large established offerings. You would be based in Canary Wharf, attend the office at least one day a week and the rest of the week we split our time working from our 5 hospital sides and from home.

Organisational Development



· Proactively builds credible and valued relationships with senior leaders to to persuade, inspire and energise sustainable behavioural and cultural change, usingappropriate academic and business models, todeliver the OD methodologies leading to sustained continuous improvement.



· Encourages an empowering environment to enable managers to manage their services and people compassionately.



· Works collaboratively to design and deliver a coherent, high quality and efficient OD work plan that supports the Trust in meeting its objectives and delivering the People Strategy.



· Constructively challenges and holds up the mirror to organisational behaviours at the individual, team and system level that are out of alignment with Trust values.



· Leads on the co-design, delivery and facilitation of high-quality organisational development interventions for individuals and teams, specifically focusing on areas of culture change, management/leadership development, and individual and team effectiveness.



· Integrates the ‘patient voice’ and patient experience in the design, planning and delivery of any and all OD interventions.



Leadership and management



· Promotes, role models and delivers a strong compassionate leadership culture across the Trust embedding our We Care values and behaviours.

· Acts as a role model for transformational leadership demonstrating leadership and expertise, and by maintaining credibility within the Trust, the wider health care community and external agencies.
