Summary

Marketing and Social Media Assistant

Full time – Permanent – 37½ Hours per week

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Marketing and Social Media Assistant, based within our Retail Support team at our offices in Newbridge, Edinburgh. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage our social media presence, support our marketing campaigns, and provide excellent customer service to our valued customers. Responsibilities


Social Media:

· Support the creation and curation of engaging content for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) across all our brands

· Help develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic

· Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and enquiries in a timely and professional manner

· Analyse social media metrics and provide regular reports to optimise performance

Marketing:

· Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including online and offline channels

· Monitor industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities

· Help organise and coordinate marketing events and promotional activities

· Resolve customer issues effectively and ensure high customer satisfaction levels


Requirements


· Proven background and experience in social media

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders

· Proficient in using various software applications, including MS Office suite

· Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities

· Great organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

· Creative thinking and ability to contribute innovative ideas


While this is primarily an office-based role, there is the opportunity for some home

working. The working hours for this role will generally be Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm,

however a degree of flexibility may be required from time to time to meet the needs of the

business. The salary for the position is circa £25,000 per annum, dependant on experience.
