• State-of-the-art facilities including two operating theatres, an Idexx lab, digital microscope, ultrasound, laparoscopic kit, and dental x-ray
• Working alongside AVP/certificate holders

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a small animal veterinary surgeon to join a RCVS accredited group in the West Midlands. Our client's practice is conveniently located in the north of Wolverhampton, just 2 minutes from the M54 Junction 2. This makes it easily accessible from all areas of the West Midlands and just minutes away from Staffordshire and Shropshire.

Our client is looking for a small animal veterinary surgeon, ideally with an interest in laparoscopic surgery, to join their team. Established nearly 100 years ago, the group has grown to include five practices across the area plus a dedicated small animal hospital.

You will be joining a team that includes many AVP/certificate holders who are happy to offer extensive support for clinical development and activities. They are a supportive and motivated team and have had many successes in guiding newer graduates into senior vet roles and certificate holders.

The practice is modern and well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including two operating theatres, an Idexx lab, digital microscope, ultrasound, laparoscopic kit, and dental x-ray. They are also a training practice for Student Veterinary Nurses and new Graduate Vets. The hospital is fully equipped with a CT scanner, digital x-ray, lab, and endoscope.

Our client will provide the support and mentorship needed to build your skills and development. Certificate study is also offered and encouraged. There is an opportunity to work at their hospital one day a week, allowing you to undertake more detailed medical work and surgery alongside their team of Certificate Holders/Advanced Practitioners. This will enable you to book your own cases for your hospital day, working them up with support and access to greater equipment.
