Summary

As Head of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for sculpting the messaging around our products, effectively communicating with our audience to generate the maximum demand and building content funnels that drive awareness and conversion.
We are looking for an exceptional communicator with an understanding of how best to leverage marketing technology to communicate with prospects and customers at scale.
Managing a small team and reporting to the Commercial Director this role is ideal for someone with experience in a product marketing role looking for that exciting next step. You will be joining the company at a time of growth, with exciting new products currently in the pilot phase. You can look forward to shaping the go-to-market plan for a truly disruptive product in your second quarter and leveraging the company’s significant market share in the edtech space to drive change, deliver growth and save schools money.
You’ll have ownership of all of our prospect/client-facing marketing so you will need to be an outstanding detail-oriented copywriter, with a solid grasp of automation, workflows and content delivery in marketing technology. Ideally, you will be a data-driven marketeer, keen to build on every marginal gain, with the ability to articulate technical concepts as compelling, customer-focused messaging.
A SaaS background would be an advantage as would experience with sales enablement. We are currently using Microsoft Dynamics and Dotdigital but experience in other CRMs/marketing systems will still be seen as advantageous as we look to scale up our output through new technologies.
This role is ultimately about generating demand in a fast-paced commercial environment, so requires someone who, once familiar with our market and product set, can be a self-starter, delivering against KPIs and bringing plenty of their own ideas to the table.
Responsibilities
Build and execute, through your team, a product marketing strategy to help generate demand and maintain retention
Champion our products and inform overall marketing strategy with valuable product marketing intelligence.
Be the evangelist, internally and externally, for our solutions and monitor the performance of solutions to educate customer-facing teams.
Understand how we fit against competitors in and out of the sector and use this intelligence to inform new marketing tactics
Develop product positioning and messaging, including differentiators and use cases.
