Summary
A fabulous four day nanny position has become available in Chalfont St Peter, Buckinghamshire. This friendly and active family are looking for a kind, calm, and fun person, who can stay long term and become part of their happy family.
You will be caring for three children, two boys aged four and three and their little sister aged ten months. Mum occasionally works from home, but this will be a sole charge role.
The hours will be two days 13.00-20.00 and two days 08.00-20.00 (one preferably a Wednesday). This will be 38 hours in total. Any additional hours for babysitting or in the school holidays will be mutually agreed and paid as overtime.
The parents are keen for their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, to help them to hit their various developmental milestones – with lots of stimulating and educational indoor fun (games, reading, singing songs, jigsaws, craft, imaginary games, etc) mixed with plenty of outside play and walks, visits to soft play, story time, music groups, etc ensuring that the children are happy and safe at all times.
The family live in a beautiful house, which they like to keep well organised and clean. They have high standards, so they employ a weekly cleaner. This role is to include all nursery duties – general care of the children, children’s laundry and bed changing, keeping all areas the children use clean and tidy between weekly cleans (kitchen, children’s bedrooms and playroom). Any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated. You will prepare healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day, batch cooking when possible. Knowledge of weaning and potty training is essential.
On the shorter days, the two youngest attend nursery so will have some time to carry out nursery duties before school and nursery pick up. You must be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid at the current government rate.
This is a wonderful role and would suit someone who is happy to make a long-term commitment.
