Summary

An exciting four-day, live-out nanny position has become available in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. This friendly and professional family of four is seeking a Level 3 qualified, kind, caring, organised, active and efficient nanny, with plenty of initiative, to join their happy family.

The hours of the role will be Monday-Thursday, 07.15-18.45 (46 hours).

Although the parents occasionally work from home, you will have sole responsibility for two lively and active boys, aged seven and four. The eldest is in full-time school and the youngest attends nursery each morning. He will be starting full time school in September. The boys are loving and friendly and enjoy playing outside and riding their bikes.

The family is looking for someone who possesses a genuine passion for child development, enjoys creating fun and educational activities, and is committed to providing excellent care for their children. They aim to encourage their children’s development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and are looking for a nanny who shares their values. They want their children to learn and develop in a balanced way, with plenty of stimulating, educational, and age-appropriate indoor activities (games, reading, singing, dancing, jigsaw puzzles, crafts, and imaginary games) mixed with plenty of outdoor play and visits to the park. In addition to after-school clubs, in the school holidays, the parents would like you to find fun activities to attend, making sure the children are happy and safe at all times.

As well as general childcare responsibilities, this role includes duties to help keep the home running smoothly, such as children’s laundry/ironing, organising the children’s clothes and toys, and maintaining tidiness in their bedrooms and playroom. As well as overseeing homework, you will ensure that school uniforms are ready, shoes polished, school bag packed etc, ready for the next day.

You will be responsible for providing the children with healthy and nutritious meals each day, preferably homemade from scratch. The children enjoy a variety of different tastes and like to be involved in creating the menu each week. Occasionally making a little more for Mum and Dad would be appreciated.

Mum or Dad will be home around 18.45 after bath time, to take over the children for bedtime.

Although the family has a weekly cleaner, any additional tasks to keep the home running smoothly would be appreciated, such as emptying the dishwasher, vacuuming when necessary, unpacking the weekly grocery shop, running errands to the post office, dry cleaners, etc.

To carry out the school and nursery runs, you should be a careful and confident driver with a clean licence. There is an automatic car for use on duty.

If this role sounds like something you would enjoy and you would like to join this happy and supportive family, please apply below.
