Role Overview:
We are seeking experienced Cable Jointer. As a Cable Jointer, you will be a crucial part of our network, contributing to powering change.
Responsibilities:
- Work on HV & LV Network, performing jointing, cabling, and excavation work on a pre-planned and quick-response basis.
- Ensure safety, acting as an ambassador for a strong safety culture.
- Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide excellent customer service.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including out-of-hours standby duties and short-notice attendance for storm situations.
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this role, we're looking for candidates with:
- DNO Industry experience in the UK or overseas.
- Recognized cable jointing qualification in LV, HV, 11kV, or 33k
- Proven track record in construction, repair, and operation of electrical plant and equipment up to 11kV on DNO networks.
- Sound HV and LV electrical knowledge.
- Flexibility for out-of-hours standby duties and short-notice work during severe weather.
- Full UK driving license.
Essential Certifications:
- NRSWA Units 1-5
- EUSR
