Summary

Are you a mechanically biased Process Operator looking for a new contractual / permanent position?

Acorn by Synerige is currently recruiting for Kiln Plant Operatives with Mechanical / Engineering qualifications & experience on behalf of their client at a heavy industry refinery facility based in Swansea.

This is an ongoing / permanent vacancy with a very well established company who refine nickel. The successful candidate will have worked in a manufacturing or industrial environment; ideally with powdered metals, and full training will be provided.

You must demonstrate good working knowledge of Safe Systems of Work along with the ability to champion safety in the workplace. Furthermore, the individual will be expected to demonstrate their knowledge of CI, aligning to the refineries commitment to continuously improve processes and systems.


Duties and responsibilities will include:

* Day-to-day running of plant, mechanical maintenance
* Maintaining a clean working environment
* Working to established site principles and observing H&S rules
* Complying with strict company Personal Protective Equipment legislation

Working patterns are 4 on 6 off shifts (days). You will require a flexible approach however as call ins and overtime may be required. This position offers an attractive salary with shift allowance, with an annual bonus and pension scheme.
