Axium Process is a leading specialist in designing and manufacturing cross-flow membrane filtration systems for both hygienic and industrial applications. We are expanding and seeking a talented Quotations Engineer to join our Project Engineering Department.
Role Overview: As a Quotations Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in managing enquiries and preparing quotations. This involves scoping customer requirements, specifying equipment, liaising with suppliers, compiling costing files, producing quotations and attending customer meetings. Comprehensive training on our processes and products will be provided to the right candidate.
What You'll Do:
1. Prepare engineering quotations for membrane systems, CIP systems, vessels, process trials, spares, site work, and other technical enquiries.
2. Develop process flow diagrams, produce costings, and generate quotations.
3. Collaborate with the Projects Team to ensure timely responses to enquiries.
4. Assist in creating drawings for cost estimation.
5. Utilise the company’s accounts package.
6. Source competitive pricing for materials and equipment.
7. Follow up, review, update, and re-issue quotations as necessary.
8. Provide professional support to internal teams and customers.
9. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Quotations Manager.
10. Occasional travel to visit customer sites.
What We're Looking For:
• Qualifications in process, chemical, mechanical, or industrial engineering are advantageous.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills, with competency in documentation compilation.
• Proficiency in accounts packages like Sage Accounts and MS Office Suite, especially spreadsheets.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting technical information clearly.
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and manage interruptions.
• Experience in multitasking, high organization, and self-motivation.
• Meticulous attention to detail and methodical approach to enquiries.
• Experience in equipment manufacturing and costing of process equipment is a plus.

• Permanent, full-time position: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
