Summary

If so, we have a great opportunity for an Alternative Feeds Trader to join our team. Working with our 12 existing Traders who have over 200 years of experience between them and extensive knowledge of the feed market, you will be in great hands!

This role will be based from our Coylton Mill, KA6 6LZ and salaries will be dependent on skills and experience, to be discussed on application.
This role is a permanent position.
About this role:
Providing advice and support to farmers to enable them to make informed purchasing decisions
Trade alternative feeds such as soya, rape, wheat, and barley to our farming customer base
Support the sales of the added value and processed grain products, such as fats & caustic wheat
Building longstanding relationships with our customers, suppliers, and field sales team
Proactively seek new customers through regular prospecting
Liaising with our suppliers to ensure our customers receive the best possible pricing and service levels
For this role, you will need:
A keen interest to develop an understanding of the agricultural commodities market, trends, pricing, and demand
Passionate with a sound understanding of UK agriculture and terminology
Drive and determination, and comfortable working within a sales environment
Previous experience working in an agricultural commercial environment, or any relevant agricultural experience would be advantageous.
