Summary


Grange and Millom Integrated Care Community Administrator AfC Band 3

37.5 hrs per week - Permanent

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5. There are opportunities for negotiation.

Base: Grange Health Centre or Millom Community Hospital.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and skilled administrator to join our busy service. You should have significant proven experience with excellent organisational and communication skills to cover the administrative role of two supportive teams. You will be well experienced with IT including spreadsheets and be confident in data extraction and excel supported data manipulation.

This is a great opportunity to experience working with two well established teams and provide a wide range of professional administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our Integrated Care Community. The role will be varied and flexibility is essential!

Duties will include: support for the core leadership team; some telephone support including direct patient contact; setting up meetings and compiling documentation; preparing presentations and display materials; file, diary and office stock maintenance and, to actively engage with and support our population health agenda.

We operate from three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.

FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.

WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.

All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
