Requirements
We are currently seeking an experienced Forming Operator to work within our expanding sheet metal fabrication organisation. We are looking for a hard-working, competent, experienced individual with great attention to detail. You should be punctual and reliable, have good communication skills, be a flexible team player and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Productivity, effectiveness and a good work ethic and are crucial.

Ideal candidates will have experience including but not limited to:

• Operating and maintaining tooling/equipment needed to perform the job
• Operating, setting and programing press brake machinery, preferably Amada
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Good understanding of the manufacture of small volume parts to close tolerances
• Form sheet metal to precision tolerances
• Conducting regular quality checks such as visual checks or taking measurements
• Maintaining and complying with all safety systems regarding machine operation and proper guarding
• Previous experience in a sheet metal worker role

Advantageous but not essential experience:
• Have experience working in the Aerospace/Defence sectors

Details:
Job Type: Permanent. Full time.
Standard Working Hours: Basic 39 hour week. Mon-Thurs 8am to 5pm, Fri 8am to 1pm. Overtime available.
Salary: Hourly rate is at least minimum wage and is dependent on experience and ability. Salary paid weekly.
