Requirements
We are currently seeking Laser/Punch, Press Brake and Welding Robot Machine Operators to work within our expanding sheet metal fabrication organisation. We are looking for a hard-working, competent, individual with great attention to detail. You should be punctual and reliable, eager to learn, have good communication skills, be a flexible team player and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Productivity, effectiveness and a good work ethic and are crucial.
Job Role
The successful applicant will be required to operate the CNC machinery to begin the production process. Ideal candidates will have machine operator experience although training will be provided.
Preferred but not essential experience includes:
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Operating, setting and programming CNC laser/punch machinery
• Operating, setting and programming press brake machinery
• Operating, setting and programming a welding robot
• Maintaining and complying with all safety systems regarding machine operation and proper guarding
• Good understanding of the manufacture of small volume parts to close tolerances
• Conducting regular quality checks such as visual checks or taking measurements
• Previous experience in a sheet metal worker role

Job Type: Permanent. Full time.
Standard Working Hours: Basic 39 hour week. Mon-Thurs 8am to 5pm, Fri 8am to 1pm.
Salary: Hourly rate dependent on experience and ability. Salary paid weekly.
