We are working with a successful company who now need to hire an experienced Head of Product Management to lead their innovative product team and facilitate the strategic vision and execution of their product portfolio. As the Head of Product Management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of these companies' products, enhancing customer experiences, and contributing to growth and success.
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role requires significant experience in building and delivering product management processes to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Your new role
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Facilitating the definition and communication of a compelling product vision and strategy for all products, services and my clients' platform, DXRX aligns with the company's overall goals and market trends.
- Lead the development of a comprehensive product and service roadmap that prioritises features and enhancements to deliver exceptional value to customers.
- Continuously analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to refine and evolve the product strategy.
Team Leadership and Management:Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
Product Development and Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end product commercial lifecycle, from concept to launch, while ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other departments to deliver successful product releases.
- Make data-driven decisions, leveraging analytics and user insights to optimise product features and drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication:
- It serves as the primary point of contact for senior leadership, providing regular updates on product strategy, milestones, and performance.
- Effectively communicate product updates, successes, and challenges to internal teams, external partners, and customers.
Customer-Centric Focus:
- Champion a deep understanding of customer needs, behaviours, and pain points to inform product decisions and enhancements.
- Foster a customer-first mentality within the product team, ensuring that user feedback is consistently integrated into product iterations.
Innovation and Market Awareness:
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Identify new market opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore potential product expansions or new offerings.
What you'll need to succeed
- Education - bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience - minimum 5 years' experience in a similar Head of Product Management role ideally within the healthcare, pharma or diagnostic industry. Candidates with strong data or SaaS platforms and precision medicine experience are highly valued.
- Experience working as a data vendor in pharma would be preferable.
- Computer and software Knowledge and Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, skilled user of Excel and PowerPoint.
