Summary

Term Time – 38 weeks + 1 (39 weeks) Additional week to be worked to include 3 x Teacher Training Days with remaining hours to be worked throughout the school year in staff training. Monday – Friday 8.40 am – 3.10 pm with one hour lunch or Monday - Friday 8.50 am - 3.20 pm Dependent of Key Stage Paid to include training and online work – 1 Hour after school day – 32.5 hours a week. Possible additional 1 hour lunchtime contract can be discussed at interview to add to salary.As an apprentice you will be in a role where you will learn valuable experiences through on-the-job training. You will be provided with hands on experiences needed to gain the qualification. A mentor will be assigned and you will work alongside an experienced team of colleagues who will supervise and guide you throughout your apprenticeship. As an apprentice you will spend 20% of your working time engaged in apprentice training. This may consist of: Distance Learning Mandatory in-house training Time spent researching, writing assessments, gathering evidence towards your portfolio. Gaining new knowledge in a specified pedagogy /area/platform.We are looking for an Apprentice Teaching Assistant (Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification LMP) to join our happy friendly community where children enjoy all aspects of school life. We require candidates to display a range of skills including: Minimum standard of GCSE (Grade A* - C) or equivalent in English and Maths Excellent communication skills both oral and written Good organisational skills The dedication and drive to improve the education of all pupils.
