As the Quality and Performance Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our government-funded programs. Your primary responsibility will be to establish robust quality monitoring and management systems to ensure our programs consistently meet the high standards set by regulators such as Ofsted, ESFA, and awarding bodies. You will also drive quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that Prevista exceeds national success averages and provides outstanding learning experiences.

Are you the right person for the job?

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven track record in managing large-scale, complex projects within government ESF-funded programs
• Relevant QCF Assessor qualification (e.g., D32/D33/A1/CAVA/TAQA Assessor)
• Relevant Internal Verifier/Internal Quality Assurer qualification (e.g., D34/V1)
• Clear understanding of learners’ assessment, teaching, learning, achievement, and progression
• Experience in delivering internal training and performance management
• Experience with Self-Assessment and Quality Improvement Plans
• Strong IT proficiency and experience with education management information systems.
• Excellent communication, planning, monitoring, and reporting skills.
• Commitment to creating a culture of continuous improvement, health and safety, safeguarding, and equality.

Job Challenges:

• Ensuring all delivery meets quality standards and audit compliance
• Achieving high overall learner success rates
• Managing relationships with delivery partners, funders, and senior management

What will your role look like?

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality practices that meet business, government, and contractual requirements
• Manage and enhance the quality framework to ensure excellent teaching, learning, and assessment standards across all contracts
• Conduct quality assurance observations and provide actionable feedback for improvement
• Coordinate monitoring visits to delivery centres and implement necessary improvements
• Lead the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) function to ensure compliance and maintain Direct Claims Status
• Ensure timely registration and certification of learners within named sectors
• Monitor and manage performance to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Oversee contract mobilisation and ensure successful project establishment and delivery
• Provide regular reports on quality and performance activities to the Head of Quality & Curriculum
• Utilise technology to enhance teaching and learning experiences
• Lead quarterly standardisation meetings to ensure consistency in delivery
• Engage with external organisations and attend relevant network groups to promote quality improvement
• Conduct impact review meetings to drive performance and ensure timely achievement
• Maintain and update Quality Assurance and Assessment policies
• Support the professional development of staff through continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with the company’s quality manual and procedures
• Validate due diligence information and ensure centres operate according to legislative requirements
• Foster a high-performing, customer-focused organisational culture

Key Relationships:

• Internal: Head of Quality Curriculum and Safeguarding, Quality & Curriculum Team, Centre Manager Tutors and IQAs, Head of Centre, Exams Team
• External: Delivery partners, funders, and key stakeholders

Decision-Making Authority:

• Make independent decisions on operational matters relating to quality, performance, and compliance
