Summary
It’s an exciting time to join the Motor Engineering department here at AXA. As an In-house Engineer, you’ll be responsible for providing technical expertise to our Motor Claims Department, Brokers and Customers while successfully managing and controlling damage spend on Motor Insurance Claims.
You’ll be instrumental to the team by undertaking remote vehicle inspections using the most appropriate methods such as written reports, data, and digital imaging, to ensure the accurate valuing of the motor vehicle claims. What you’ll be doing:
Reviewing and negotiating settlement of all motor vehicles, liaising directly with our customers.
You’ll be working to agreed timescales and business parameters, depending on the business needs.
Audit and evaluate performance of repairer, making recommendations regarding repair quality, repair costs and customer service.
Building and maintaining professional working relationships with a range of suppliers.
Supporting all aspects of the business to assist in the claims process for both insured and third party in order expedite settlement and minimise cost.
Ensuring all work is carried out within agreed KPI’s and SLA’s and in accordance with our company values.
