Summary
The successful applicants will join an established, successful and enthusiastic team in delivering quality anaesthetic, perioperative and critical care services to the local West Dorset population and adjoining areas. This includes anaesthetic support for the hospitals surgical teams including theatre sessions for Orthopaedics, Vascular Surgery, Ophthalmology, Maxillo-facial, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Urology, Colorectal, and General Surgery. Anaesthetic support is also provided in the radiology suite and endoscopy unit. The post holder will be required to attend monthly Governance meetings. So far as is consistent with the proper discharge of the above duties, the post-holder undertakes to deputise from time to time for absent colleagues, and exceptionally to perform additional duties in emergencies or unforeseen circumstances
