An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Executive (Travel Planning & Delivery) within Nestrans, the Regional Transport Partnership for Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.

The successful candidate will lead the Partnership’s work in the areas of travel planning and travel behaviour change, in order to deliver a more sustainable, healthy and inclusive transport network for the residents and communities of north east of Scotland, in line with our Regional Transport Strategy.

With a passion for evidence-based sustainable transport behaviour change, combined with related knowledge and experience, and a track record in partnership working, the postholder will take responsibility for specific elements of Regional Transport Strategy and Action Plans. They will also significantly contribute to our partners’ sustainability and community planning processes, and our statutory climate and equalities reporting duties.
