Summary

Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer - PPM

Salary: £41,761.65

Hours: 42.5 per week, 08:30am - 17:30pm

Location: South Yorkshire/Notts and Derby

Are you a Refrigeration Engineer looking for a new opportunity that focuses solely on Planned Preventative Maintenance?

Our client is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to play a key role in maintaining refrigeration equipment across several site locations in the South Yorkshire/Nottinghamshire area. This role will also involve assisting with reactive maintenance during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct PPM across various locations, ensuring schedules are met and paperwork is accurate.
  • Support reactive maintenance, identifying non-repairable faults and making replacement recommendations.
  • Participate in standby rota for a minimum of 4 weeks annually.
  • Stay updated on regulations and codes of practice.
  • Build rapport with store managers and communicate any issues.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and assess job requirements.
  • Complete surveys and reports as required.
  • Adhere to health and safety policies.
  • Maintain high standards and communicate effectively.
  • Attend training courses as necessary.
  • Represent the company professionally.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to uphold quality standards.

Requirements:

  • City&Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration.
  • Experience in refrigeration maintenance.
  • Compliance knowledge.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.
